Dan David Prize

Three Dan David Prizes of US$ 1 million each are annually awarded for achievements having an outstanding scientific, technological, cultural or social impact on our world.

Each year fields are chosen within the three Time Dimensions – Past, Present and Future. The past dimension for 2018 is the history of science (see here).

You will find a text explaining the aims of the prize more precisely there.

This text explains in particular that "The Dan David Prize laureates donate 10% of their prize money to postgraduate students in their respective fields, thereby contributing to the community and fostering a new generation of scholars."

The deadline for nominations is November 30, 2017. The modalities for a nomination are explained under this link.

Don’t hesitate to circulate this announcement widely, and to nominate colleagues!
