We are pleased to announce that the historian of technology Maria Paula Diogo, institutional member of ESHS Scientific Board was awarded the Leonardo da Vinci Medal 2020.
The Leonardo da Vinci Medal is “the highest recognition from the Society for the History of Technology (…) presented to an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to the history of technology, through research, teaching, publications, service to the Society, and other activities”.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic emergency, the (live) award ceremony and the lecture by the winner were postponed to November 2021 during the joint SHOT-HSS Annual Meeting in New Orleans (Louisiana).
